College Choir - Oratorio

7:00 pm - 11:59 pm

The Oratorio Choir from God’s Bible School and College will be performing an eclectic selection of repertoire. Although these pieces were composed in varying styles, genres, and time periods, they collectively portray one specific theme – “Music Fit for a King.” Composers and arrangers include: G.F. Handel Haydn, Gabriel Faure, Moses Hagan, and John Rutter.

The evening’s performance will open with Handel’s “Zadok the Priest,” a majestic anthem written for the coronation of Great Britain’s king, George II. Other selections include: “The Heaven’s are Telling” from Haydn’s, The Creation, which speaks of God’s glory in His creation; Handel’s “The Hallelujah Chorus,” from his most famous work, The Messiah, and “Ride On, King Jesus!” a Spiritual arranged by Moses Hagan.

Admission or tickets are not required; but donations are appreciated.  For more information, call 513.721.7944.
